I have changed my login to a normal user, (instead of an abnormal admin? 🙂 ) To test the ability to start a thread.

I still have the ability, someone just posted elsewhere that when they tried, they received an error saying only moderators are allowed to start threads. I think that is only true of the "Welcome" Forum". However, he had a good idea, wanting to Introduce himself to the group. If Bob wishes to setup a Members I.D. Forum, I'd be happy to start it out. Now that we have more space to work with, maybe we could even allow a photo upload in that Forum. What do you think?

Hi Mike,

Could you "flesh out" that idea of a members ID forum? What you would like in it? Any limits on it? Or are you thinking of a general forum so a new members could intrduce them self?

Any others out there have ideas of the "why can't we do...." type? We are only limited by our imaginations and time to build it. So let me have your good, not so good, half backed, fully formed or back of the envelope calculations and send them to me.

Thil Later,

Bob Stock

Actually it was Kitewgn who had the idea. He tried to post an introduction in the Admin Forum, which is reserved for Administrators and Moderators only. I thought it was a good idea, but then thought it would be nice to have a separate area where folks could look back. Maybe we could also allow a single photo to be posted in that forum as well. If you get here by dialing up, the photo albums can take a long time to open.

I guess if I had a wish list it might include a chat feature. I'm really tired of the gremlins of yahoo tossing us out after 20 minutes.
