Is anyone still publishing a sidecar-oriented magazine? I recall seeing something about Hack'd ceasing publication, and have heard mention of something called "Sidecarist" but haven't found any subscription or other info on it. My wife and I are looking at ordering a sidecar attached to our bike after the first of the year and while we've found a lot of sidecar info on the web and through books we've purchased, it seems odd that there aren't any sidecar magazines present on the web.
Thanks,

GTRider

GTRider, I'm sure you will get information from others, but here is a quick response. The Sidecarist magazine is a publication provided at no additional cost to dues paying members of the USCA (United Side Car Association.) The USCA also sponsors this web site, but it is not a requirement to be a member of the USCA to use this web site. Personally I enjoy the magazine and membership, in addition to using this site. So I would recommend you check out the general information located at the site's sign on screen and then consider joining the USCA.

Thanks for the info, everyone! Have pulled down the membership form and will be sending that in. Also took a look at the sample copy of The Sidecarist and look forward to receiving the magazine as well. Thanks again,
GTRider

But in UK I have seen an equivalent back in '83 in a cycle shop in Darlington
So lets ask Hank.

Welcome.
So tell us more. Is this an email address? I can't seem to find a web page. How do you subscribe and what does it cost?

Yes this is the email address to use to make contact.

There is no web site yet. It is just a try. The format of the ezine is now final.

Subscribtion and such has not been defined yet.

So far, we are planning a Special Edition per year

We are not trying to replace Hack'd.

This Special Edition is scheduled to be released in June electronically.
So far, one Special per year has been scheduled.
Based on the answer of the readers, we will release more issues per year.
The purpose of this ezine is to have it distributed by local sidecar club to their members as an add-on to their newsletter.
We are not trying to compete with the existing magazines.
It will be written by the people for the people.
We encourage you to make contact with us for distribution and club fees.
You have a story, we will publish it...
We are already working on the 2011 project.
