But he didn't fly the chair. 48 years ago I built one of those using a minibike I had built.
It flew the chair quite well.

There is (was?) a guy in Rathdrum Idaho who built very similar mini-rigs. He was at the C d'A rally a few years ago. If I was on the computer where my photos are, I'd post one or two. But alas... I'm in the shop and they're in the house... Maybe later.

I have been thinking about doing that with a Ruckus for my own uses locally.

Or maybe a Grom.

In my mind does rotate the idea of a 3wd Rokon rig. The Ural rotated in my brain for 20 or more years before she came true, so I do not
loose hope yet...
That monkey reminds me to the day I had to give a lift to my father on his own monkey.
He was so heavy that leaving the ice cream bar, the monkey raised about 4 times into the air before we got the idea to start downwards.
"downwards" at about 1,5m above sea level!!!!

Nice little bike. Would make a good pit bike. I have Surly cargo petal bike with a sidecar that will carry more and has more room though ;-).
