I've gotten a couple of questions about how to donate online to the Ride 4 Kids and the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation it supports since not all of us live close enough to participate in the rides. We appreciate all the support this group lends to the efforts. It's so great to see the kids' (current tumor patients and survivors) faces light up as they get to ride in the sidecars during the ride. For some, it will be their only chance and it really is a lasting experience for them.
Little known fact: Pediatric brain tumors kill more kids in the US every year than any other disease and yet really doesn't get much publicity. Chances are all of us know someone suffering from this or a relative of someone who is. We knew 3 struggling with this last year and unfortunately, only one of those kids is still alive today. But, we thank God she is still alive.
