I would like to experience a motorcycle with a sidecar the weekend of June 16th. I am interested in purchasing but would like to use one beforehand. My fiance and I would be the only users and I could provide monetary compensation and a colateral and I do have a valid motorcycle license. Even if you can't find a rig to rent, try to make some time to go to the Super 8 in Dubuque any evening that weekend. There is going to be a sidecar gathering that will be "headquartered" at the motel and plenty of rigs to see (and maybe someone will let you take a test drive if you ask nicely)and folks with information for you to talk to. wow what a small world. coincidentally, I am going to be traveling from Davenport to Dubuque on either Friday, June 15th or Saturday. I will be taking highway 67 along the river and the thought of using a sidecar with communicating headsets along that drive would be an outstanding way to utilize a June weekend. I will be staying in Dubuque that Saturday night also so maybe I will be looking into availability at that Super 8.
thank you for the information. Do you know if dealerships have any kind of rental usage before purchasing? I'm a little hesitant to go that route because i'd preferrably like something older to begin with.
