RE-Built My Own
Hey guys put some pics in my album of the modified rig, tried to use all your suggestions and info to make it better, and it sure made a world of difference, beefed up the frame on the rig plus made a sub frame on the bike, lowered the axle down to frame level raising the rig 4 inches, have pivots for lean out now, plus lenghtened the distance between the rigs mounts, made the rigs wheel 10 inches ahead of the bikes rear wheel, (had 5 before) when I bolted it all together I ended up with 1/2 inch of toe-in, so will make the rigs wheel ajustable for toe-in when the time comes. Totally handles better than before, very solid and very neutral steering at speed, (50-60 mph). Put a rather large young lady in it for the maiden voyage and was amazed at how great it went down the road. Anyway, thanks a million again for all you guys help and info. Oh ya, still ended up with a total cost of less than 550 bucks. Thanx again!!!!!!!
EXCELLENT NEWS!! Darned glad to hear its all working out for you. Thanks for the update.
