The following is a shameless plea for help. In late November I received a note from Bruce Stevens that he wished to resign from his longstanding responsibility as Publicity Chairman for the USCA. His hard work will be greatly missed. He was responsible for all of the information we have/had in the Sidecarist that informed us of rallies, other events and training opportunities in the sidecar and related realm.
We need to replace Bruce!!! That is the substance of my plea. Is there anyone out there that has an interest and the skill set to do this important task.
Initially Bruce collected information on sidecar manufacturers, dealers and installers, sidecar distributors, and manufacturers of related components. It has morphed into collecting information on sidecar training, rallies, and other sidecar related events. Some issues of the Sidecarist there was one page of material. In others there was 3 plus pages of information. This issue was short 4 pages of material that usually appears in this magazine. That was space Martin had to fill.

Bruce did a most excellent job with the information he put together for Martin as well as the list of rallies and events published here on the forum and elsewhere. His will be some hard shoes to fill but I certainly hope someone with the skills and drive to replace him steps up!! I'm sorry to see his step down. I, for one, really appreciated the job he did.
Another shameless plea!! Martin would like a picture of Bruce to put in the Sidecarist with an article thanking him for his service. Does anyone out there have a picture of Bruce?
