On the road with the leading link!! LONG!

Posted by: @calvin-watsonYa. That's my $100 trailer. It's like the rest of my stuff, and me. Old and beat up,,,,lol. It's a very early model, 1984 to be exact
Calvin, Caretaker of Sidecar Willie, the Ramblin' Man......it is quite interesting that you have a 1984 Bushtec trailer, as that may very well be the first year that Bill Bushling made his famous trailers. I bought my first Bushtec trailer directly from Bill Bushling, in 1989, and I believe it was the very last one HE made, before selling the business to John Preston, and the business was immediately moved from Nor Cal to Tennessee, and John Preston built the Bushtec trailer business into an empire. I did buy a 2nd Bushtec trailer, this 2nd one was purchased directly from John Preston, and at one point I towed a Bushtec Turbo+2 trailer, behind my Honda ST-1100, at a GPS reading of 135 mph on the Black Rock Desert in Northern Nevada.
What you have, is a collector's item. It may have only cost you $ 100.00, and may be olde and beat up, like you, but it is worth keeping....forever, and if you ever do sell it, price it at $ 1,500.00, as an olde...beat up...1984...Bushtec trailer.
