The Jackal has the right "look" for the Watsonian Monza . . .

While we have done the XS1100 we have never tooled for it. We had one come into the shop about 5 years ago that only had 12 miles on it. Yes 12. The owner found it in the warehouse for a dealer and purchased it new, as the original owner it still was under factory warranty! The Jackal we have mounts for and being a more current bike might be easier to keep on the road parts availability wise.

Well I must say I am enjoying this restore.....frame is done, brakes and bearings done, blasted and coated, new tire and tube, getting ready to mount.....decided on the Yamaha, the Guzzi is just too much fun to ride solo.....I posted in classifieds for a few things...if I can find used thats cool......
This is a very well made car, heavy, excellent brazed joints, brake assembly as solid as any automobile....very happy with it....here's a lousy picture from today.......

Cant wait to run it.....

Out of curiosity, how mch did you give for it? I just bought a 1982 Watsonian Monaco for $2000. It needs paint and Claude will mount it for $1200 to $1500. I hope I am not upside down before I get to ride it. I am a total Newbie sidecarist BUT always fascinated by sidecars

Well, I paid $500 for it...and hundred or so for mounting stuff....I fabbed the bike mounts and used three point hitch gear from Tractor Supply.....got it to the point where I road tested it today...tracks good, no head shake...haven't hooked the brake up yet and still need to do misc., seat windscreen etc...probably wait til next winter to paint...maybe not....might look for a LL front end at some point.....its a hoot to ride....

You realize its a Watsonian, right? You got the deal of the century Marcus .. Actually, Its just what I am looking for .. Not fancy just fun ... like my 97' Toyota Rav 4 truck .. It just keeps going with little to no maintenance or problems ..

If you come across another deal like that please let me know

I was told it was a 1959, but I dont think they were made until 60... it has body number 102....
It came with the grab rail and windshield...i need to make a new one, this one is cracked....
The more I run it, the more I like it...using it for errands now just because......kinda fun...
