Well although I had the bug and wanted something current I went 180 degrees on this one. Couple reasons are a WWII buff and old Brit bike enthusiast. I currently have two Triumphs and thought about adding a rig to my 03 Speedmaster but got the following. 1941 BSA WM20 that was an RAF bike serving in North Africa. Sidecar from Israel added crudely in the 50s. I will be asking for a bit of help to upgrade the suspension but not for a couple of months as I go through the BSA for now.

Thank you, The sidecar was made by Wilkowitz & sons in Israel. The progressed to make sidecars for scooters and still in business servicing them but not manufacturing. With the surplus of military bikes after the war they filled a need for cheap transportation. I know of one other in the USA attached to a BSA but that's it. Heavy duty but as mentioned crudely installed. Spring set up is strange and I think I'll modify to leaf. Only attached in 3 places and think I need one more. Looks like 1" ball type similar to early BMW Ural welded to the rear and and crude bracket with ball up front bolted. I'll have some pics later when I can get to eveerything.
