New NE director
Looks like a unamanous vote. Larry Pocobello is the new NE regional director. Welcome to the party. Everybody post a welcome to him. BY THE WAY> There are still positions waiting to be filled. You don't have to be asked, jump right in and volunteer.
According to my July-August issue of the Sidecarist we still need state reps fo rMaryland,Mississippi,South Carolina,North Dakota New Mexico. I was under the impression that George Cordura had volunteered for New Mexico. Lee and I talked to him at East Tex. get together and he was willing to take the job.

Welcome Aboard
Welcome on board (and BOD) Larry.
Who is the rep in RI? Is there a list available?
Ray G
Rhode Island
Yes there is and it is in the Sidecarist and you get that when you are a member of USCA, http://www.sidecar.com/membership_regs.html
Welcome Larry! Hope our paths cross at some point. Thanks for stepping up to the plate!!

Thanks Larry for taking the position, good luck and have fun.

what region is WV in? is there a map showing the regions ?
WV is in the NE. There is a list in the Sidecarist.
thanks for the kind words and hope I can be as helpful to others as the help I have received from many others.
The NE is a large area so I will be needing the help of the state directors to help make people aware of the USCA.
Doug it looks like you have a lot of experience that we could use as the West Virginia state representative.
What can I do to convince you to consider being the contact person for your state?
In The Sidecarist the NE region also covers the eastern portions of Canada. but no provincial reps are listed.
Do we not have anyone interested in representing the land north of the border?
Doug, thanks. It appears you have a lot experience and I would like to gently twist your arm to see if I could convince you to fill the WV state rep position.
It would help to have a person that other members in your state contact with questions.
I found there were some questions I could answer, but other times a person just needs to know who or how to contact a more knowledgeable source.
If you have any questions give me a call and I'll do my best to answer them.

Sorry for the delay Larry , been riding and working and riding some more. I will consider the WV rep position. you can email me coper2k@yahoo.com or call me at 304-268-1214 to let me know the job description and I will talk it over with my wife and Aiden my copilot. My experience , well that can be debated , is just me riding with the now 5 year old since July 2011 and about 10,000 miles. Now this winter( winter has a wholenew meaning now that i have a sidecar) I plan to convert my Velorex to a 12" trailer rim and lower my bike back to what it was before the sidecar. I will definately post pics and updates on that project.
Welcome aboard Larry!
