Hi to all, new member to sidecars here in Minnesota. I live on the north side of Mpls and have never ridden or driven a sidecar but am jumping in and seeing what happens.
I am getting the bike running as we speak. Hoping to get the bike and sidecar on the road next spring (not in a hurry). The bike is a 1954 Norton Big 4, 600cc single. it is a original bike from Austria. The sidecar is a mid 50-60's Watsonian Pulma which will be mounted on the left side. Ya,,, I can see all the heads shaking but hey any one can own something normal.
I'm use to older and unusual bikes like my Velocette LE, the Cyclemaster motorwheel and some others I have.
Anyone living in the twin cities area I would like to get in touch with and meet.
Any and all help is very welcomed.
Signing off for now
Dave R

Hamel has a big rigid Norton single with a LH English saloon sidecar stashed away, you should ask him to dig it out and start it up- take some pictures of the mounts.
I lived in MN for years, 64 Bonneville with Steib S-350.

Thanks old mule, I haven't talked to Steve in a while, and haven't been over to his place since he started his Vincent bonneville bike.
I'll get in touch with him.
When did you move from MN? I use to spend lots of time at Bettys bikes and buns and the first thursday get togethers.

I moved in 2001, different world here. Nothing but HDs and big ugly BMW GS models, no curvey roads, an eight mile straight leaving town.
I keep in touch with Hamels sometimes, have to go up this fall for a 650 motor he has built for me.
(no offense if you have a GS)
