Hello All, new to the forum. I bought a 2003 BMW 1150GS and plan on putting a DMC "Expedition" Sidecar on it to travel to other countries with my dog, including off-road travel.
My big question is, anyone familiar with the Telelever Front End on the GS's and if a leading link front end is necessary or a ball joint modification to extend the front end out is good enough ?
DMC sidecars says the balljoint mod they do is good enough for the Telelever front end. I just want to get opinions from those who may have experience with the Telelever and sidecar over a period of months to years.
Also, anyone have recommendations for a heavier body, heavier piston shock for the rear of the GS, and also what to do with the front shock. Any recommendations on manufacturer's for these shocks ?
