I just received a letter from Jean Allenbach, the executive director of MDA hoping to round up a bunch of sidecarists to give the kids rides at their WA camps this summer. The first is July 10 at Camp Cedar Springs, Lake Stevens, WA, the second is August 19 at Camp Seymour, Gig Harbor. Jean can be reached at 206-283-2183 or jallenbach@mdausa.org. I've given the MDA kids rides at their summer camp at Twin Lakes outside Rathdrum ID in the past and it's a thrill to see the joy it brings to these kids who face so many challenges. I hope a large number of folks show up for these two camps!!
we need to find out about MDA camps , if they have them all over and would they like the same treat for sidecar rides. that sounds like great fun

We have gone to these camps with sidecars. It is always rewarding to do so. If you can do it I would. If I get another rig built I will try and make the August event. Just sold my rig and have not found the right bike to replace it.
