Hi, New to the forum I have been thinking about a sidecar for my bike. Due to a accendent (Not m/c related) I have a hard time riding my bike(unable to bent leg on more then 90 degrees forget trying to get on the floor any help to what type of s/c for this bike I would be unable to do it my self I live nyc,ny(Queens) any help would be help full.
I put a 2005 Champion Legend on my 2005 Vulcan 1600 classic. It rides nicely except for the heavy steering. I previously had a Velorex on it and it had much easier steering. The Legend weighs a lot more than the Vel so this probably explains it. I made a subframe for the bike and mounted the sc a little farther out than normal. I don't need to carry any weight in the sc now. I am still looking for a flat profile car type tire to put on the rear of my bike. There appears to be only a half inch clearance on the left side of the swing arm with the stock bike tire so I am SOL in finding a 170/70B/16 MC 75H flat profile tire so far.
Pitbullpo, I have a CJ on my 06 1600 Vulcan Classic and I'm very happy with it and it handles like it's running on rails.
