Some of you might have seen this, but here is a guy riding his Ural Gear-Up from Florida to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. He is trying to do in 30 days or less. He has a link to his blog where you can follow his adventure.

Yep, CCjon, met him at the spring TURD and he seemed to have the rig set up great for this trip, plus a mind set for doing this.

Very cool. I did Alaska in 05 from Georgia and back. I recommend this trip no matter how you get there.

46U,

Wow I am impressed with your accomplishment on one bike! I hope you do the last six states soon. It is my dream to visit at least the lower 48 states with my rig.Smile

46U,

Wow I am impressed with your accomplishment on one bike!  I hope you do the last six states soon.  It is my dream to visit at least the lower 48 states with my rig.Smile

I all so have 5 Canadian provinces as well. I probably will only get 5 of the six US states I do not have, as the sixth one is Hawaii. My dream of getting all the states started 48 years ago as a child. There was a guy a few blocks from me that had a BSA and he had the United States painted on his tank with all the states outlined. Each time he did another state would have that state filled in.

I would have them all now but about 3 years ago my situations change and has held me back. I will get them even if I have to wait till my oldest grandson is old enough to drive me. LOL I only started on this dream in 2001 so I am happy where I am now but wanting to get back at it ASAP. I would all so like to get at least 4 or so more Canadian provinces as well. My rig is my only transportation. In 44 years of none stop riding I have been with out a cage but never a bike.

The Alaska trip was just over a month and over 10,000 miles.
Thanks
Jeff
