I bought a sidecar rig.
It's a 2002 Honda Shadow Spirt with a Velorex 562 Sidecar. I bought the rig entirely for the sidecar because the owner didn't want to break it up. I already have the Shadow listed on Craigslist and I'm looking to get something with more of a classic feel like an old japanese bike or BMW.
Check it out here:

What do you guy think?
Keep the whole rig. The shadow is an excellent tug. Mine has served me well for 4 years.
What you have is a pretty good combination. Ride it for a while, then see if you really want to go Retro or not.
Phellonius, each time I see an example of your sidecar ballast I start to understand why my wife urged me to swear, never to take a woman into the (Jawa) sidecar who is not a family member....
Je oller je doller...or tender mice for old cats.
She didn't urge we to do so with the Ural yet, as its still in USA.
Enjoy every day.

I got a 97 1100 shadow ace pulls along real good. don't knoe how to post a pic. but its in the albums. got about 35000 miles on it
looks good. but you want to make sure po. did not rake out triple tree, cause it would make a bad 2 wheeler if the trail was reduce. I put a 5 1/2 deg raked tree on mine, I would not want to ride it with out the sidecar now.

Thank you Johnny, how did you post this pic?
Hi William,
How I posted your pictures is easy but it wasn't to long ago that I couldn't have done it so don't let it get you down over time you too will learn your way around.
First I went to your photo album and right clicked and "copied" your picture. I then went back and "Quoted" your post and when the screen came up over on the left their is a box "Use Rich Text Editor". I clicked the box and a new screen will appear. At the end of your quote I wrote a sentence and then right clicked and hit "paste"; It's that easy.
Good luck and have fun always remembering that "Sidecar's are Fun".
Johnny

If she finds a blond hair, tell her you gave a lift to a golden retriever. Or get a golden to cover for you in such things.
Phellonius;
I have a blind Golden retriever with redish hair...
a black labrador and my daughter 2 sheperds.
Might I be covered colorwise?
Sven
