This is Gary at the Motorcycle Ride Volunteer Network. I am trying to arrange for a day ride from Hudson NH to Laconia Bike Week and then back later in the day for a friend of mine [Shafty] who has just had a brain tumor removed. He cannot ride his own for 6 months post-surgery so would really like to find a sidecar ride to the event.

Gary, I might be able to assist. I live in Nashua (right next to Hudson) & have a Hannagan 2+2 on a Yamaha Venture. (See photo)
I need to check in w/ my work schedule, but I think I can get a few hours for him up there.
There may even be a few members of the SCoNE group headed up there after our Brunch at Joey's Diner in Amherst (The former Timeless Diner) We meet there at 11am this Sunday. You're welcome to join us if you'd like.

Thanks Pyro! I'm going to point Shafty to this thread so he can get in touch with you. He's bummed about not being able to ride, but other than that his attitude is fantastic. He goes for treatments to Boston some weekdays so it will be best for you two to schedule directly.

hey joe shafty here just looking for a a ride up to the weirs with some wind in my face. the old lady said she would drive me up in the cage on a weekend day but a ride on a bike would be killer. and i am not the type of guy to ride bitch. not meaning to be rude or offensive to any one. any ways throw me an e-mail at shafty02@hotmail.com if you are still interested in helping a short term disabled biker out.
