Got it this time, but it looks like Robert Redford and Valerie Bertinelli to me. Had a good laugh.

I forgot the classic movie with a sidecar. "I was a Male Warbride."
Cary Grants rides around in a BMW sidecar while Ann Sheriden drives.

I'm also very interested about sidecar in movies, I've been searching for a long time and I've found some interesting movies...

You will find some clips about sidecar in movies (also in tv) HERE

Hope you like it

A friend just alerted me to a movie called Garden State that features a rider who owns a sidecar.

I'll have to see it, but I was wondering about other movies that have featured sidecars. I can't think of any, but then I have only been interested in hacks for a relatively short amount of time.

Any recommendations?

Rich

Hi Jag,
Can't think of any more but I wanted to comment on Garden State. The bike is a Dnepr or a Ural. The Movie itsself is a quirky love story and comedic drama dealing with two people with "issues" that get together for a day and sparks fly. It stars Natalie Portman who any sane guy must love. So there's my review. At one point they have three people cruising town on the sidecar. Fun movie....enjoy.

I enjoyed the videos, too.

I watched Garden State the other night, and I liked the sidecar scenes and of course Natalie Portman was beguiling, too. Rotten Tomatoes gives the movie pretty high marks, and I'd agree with their rating.

I had not any idea what to expect from the famous film, "On any Sunday".
Just saw it and have to say, racers must be nuts,
I enjoyed this evening and giggled so much I woke up the others in the house.

Have fun:

You will see me not only on Sundays, but on any day somewhere in the mountains strawling on 2 or 3 wheels, a "bit" calmer, BUT WITH THE SAME GRIN FROM EAR TO EAR.

Sven 🙂 😉 😮 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

And some "romantic comedy", not old, 21st century. Maybe someone remembers. I saw only a scene with sicecar. Guy (or girl) moved frequetly and had a vespa with micro-micro sidecar full of luggage. And always stopped the engine by visually effective braking 🙂 I only remember these idiotic stops, not a driver

'Spymate', trailer (without sidecar) here:

If you don't have a young child at home, I can't really recommend spending any money on the movie just to watch the sidecar scenes.

There are a fair number of other kid movies with sidecar scenes in them as well; for some reason, sidecars appeal to, and facinate, the under 10 crowd.

Hmmm, I wonder what that says about my emotional maturity level? 🙂 🙂 🙂
