Own '95SE/ CSC FSIII rig[12 years]. Wife can't ride in hack[arthritic knees]; rides behind yours truly. Stock rear shocks kaput; installed Progressive 416GLA air shocks; did NOT work [WAY too soft]! Progressive tech told me to use 412-4223C HD shocks on my s/c rig. Want to hear from ANY Wing rig owners who use these. Thanks in advance. TTFN.....Old Tom aka papasmurf in NH

Tom, I had great sucess with the Progressive 450 IAS. Thats a left shock only. You set the preload at installation time and then can adjust with the onboard air. Made a world of difference on my 97.

Hi Tom, I used Progressive 416 shocks, on a two wheel 1500, and was happy with them. My sidecar 1500 that I have now still has the original Honda shocks, that I have been thinking of replacing. I'm glad that you posted that the 416s didn't work for you with a sidecar, I was thinking that I would try them on my rig. If you find some thing that works well, please post about them. I am not in a big rush, but would be intrested in finding shocks that work.

F.Y.I: Per original telcon info w/ Progressive: 450/ 460 shock line replaced by 412 on GL1500. Low sales volume reason for change. TTFN.....Tom
P.S: 412 is a nitrogen shock w/ external spring; is a sealed NON-air unit; must use in pair on my 1500 s/c rig; will be getting my set in mid-June.
