Hello friends,
I must warn you from personel experience:
This forum is as addictive as riding a sidecar rig
is an untreatable virus infection!

Example: In 1 minute I promised to send an important project quote to a client....
And what?... Here I am chatting with you guys.

With the most probable result that the best of all wife's will be impatient and upset again.

Be cautious!
And don't say you haven't been warned by an hopeless addict!

Enjoy!
Sven Peter

You can tell just how bad you have it when Wingnut fails to put up any more information after leaving us with a cliff hanger on his last post. I've been checking several times a day to see if he's pulling our collective leg or his rig has disappeared.

Mark,
I am pretty sure he has got the riding fever..... at somewhere above 42ΒΊC.
Such a long tinkering must made him ill.
Best wishes to all
Sven

PS: I will be finishing the quote 6 hours late. The best of all wife brought the lunch uphill at 16:00 hours. Nice delivery service!

That would be a switch. As possessed as he is about building things, riding could easily become another passion. Hope he doesn't stray too far from his computer. I'd still like to see his progress.

I once gave my CB650 a new decent form, and was too bussy riding it through Europe during 2 1/2 years that I never got to put some other paint on top of the primer. After 2 1/2 years the fillings cracked open.... At the end that bike I sold with 148.000km 20 1/2 years ago and as I was told it is still on the road.

The wood finish of Wingnuts rig is so excellent I myself wouldn't bother to hide it at all!
Its unique!
