finally arrived today
Paddler, sorry to hear about your accident, and I'm glad you were able to walk again after all that. I just fell off a ladder (that was supposed to be attached to a tree) and shattered my left hip and heel. It seems that some of the pieces of bone in my heel are not healing though so it isn't a stable platform for standing and walking let alone holding up a touring bike. In one of my previous lives I was an ASE Master Automobile Technician. Guess that's why the info on wiring the sidecar. Your Sidecar is a LOT newer than mine and I understand they changed the way the wheel is attached to the car. When you get to taking pictures I'd be interested in seeing that area of yours to compare with mine. So far I have not seen another Spyder in my neck of the woods. Practice - Practice and more Practice is what I need to really get comfortable with the rig - so far no major problems with handling it (thank God I took the course for sidecars). But I have some pretty good twisty's here in the Texas Hill Country and I want to be sure about my right handers before I get in over my head.
Chit, Paddler, you'll be flying that sucker before long. Good luck.
