I have installed a 2002 velorex to a 2003 dr650. I have about 80 miles on the rig so far. I am still very tentative when going around corners but it appears to be handling pretty good.
One thing I have learned, installing a sidecar is not easy. So many things to think about. When you make one adjustment it effects something else.

I remember how cautious I was when I first started riding my R1100 w/EZS sidecar. Thought I was really doing well when I got up to 45 mph. Then I put my GPS on it and discovered I was only going 35 mph. Forgot I had 15 auto tires all the way around! Be a good "student" and learn well. It gets better and better, and "funner" and "funner".
