Hi Howard,I will be at Berryessa too. I'm going to the Paso Rally this month and the USCA Tahoe Rally in June. The Berryessa Picnic is the only NorCal event that welcomes dogs. I don't get it... sidecars and dogs go together. Even when I don't have my dog with me, people tell me they want to get a sidecar for their dog. Next year, I am going to organize a gathering especially for sidecarists with dogs.-=JD=-

I am considering getting a sidecar for my dog "Buddy", a Golden Retriever/Chow mix. He's a 5 year old about 60# medium size dog. My current ride, a 2007 Roadliner has an aluminum frame which I'm affraid will crack with the added strain of a sidecar on it, so I'm looking at leftover 2008 Kawasaki Vulcan 2000 Classics which can be had for a little over $10K plus tax. Since I'm from Ohio, I might see what Bob Wark might do in rigging the Vulcan for me. I see you use shoulder harnesses on your doggies to keep them from jumping or falling out. That's what I was thinking for Buddy's safety. Thanks for sharing your sidecar dog pics and stories!!

I'm running French Michelin radials with Michelin tubes from Coker Tire. The front and sidecar tires are 125SR/15 and the rear is a 135SR/15. The bike wheels are 15" Akronts machined to car tire specs.
