Convertible bows question

I was trying to find out if anyone had a set of convertible top bows for a Velorex, Cozy or Royal Enfield convertible top? I was thinking (maybe just a pipe dream though) of trying to make my own convertible top for my Ural. The complete new assembly for a Royal Enfield top seems to run about $145 plus tax and shipping, but I was wondering if anyone has an old unit or such? I know the RE and others won't go onto a Ural as is, but I am wanting the bows to construct my own top with. Would top bows be difficult to construct? Anyone with pics of just the top bows?
