I could maybe find pics. of the older canvas tops that went to the older modeled HD's like the
knuckleheads or panhead models...? And when did they stop making the canvas tops for Harley sidecars?

The earlier Harley sidecars that were the pattern for the modern-day Liberty units had a canvas cover in between the windshield and the front of the tub. The windshield and the canvas cover would fold forward to permit the passenger to ener the tub. I presume that's what you are talking about. It wasn't a cover over the passenger but rather a shroud around the tub where the sidecar body met the windshield. There were also some rather elaborate hinged arms that held the shield and canvas shroud.
Those haven't been provided by Harley-Davidson since the 1960's when they changed to the fiberglass tubs. I have seen them for sale on eBay ftom time to time. I don't know whether there are any aftermarket companies making them but it's doubtful since the market would be very small.

Try Merill Wolfe @ L&W bodies he has a web page Merill makes all types of needed parts and accessories for the style sidecar body you have tire mount and spinner interior stainless trim you name it he most likely makes it plus the bodys

Yes. I looked at his site and he makes a lot of parts. The entire windshield, lever arrangement and canvas cover is $550. Canvas alone is $200. Sounds good if you need one.
