Black Dog 2009 video
Gilhouley Road over Middle mountain, Sunday morning at the Black Dog. Nicholas is navigating for his father, Andy, followed closely by Dave"Mr.Cob" Hooker, Terry and Stephanie, with Rob Booth navigating for Vernon on the Adventure Sidecar KLR.
We have a Sony bullet cam mounted to a boom on the front of Andy's KLR and Vernon is wearing an Oregon Scientific ATC2000 helmet cam
Joe Cocker performs "High Time We Went"
Looks like fun was had by all:o)
Vernon,
Have to agree looked to be a good time, roughly what speeds were you traveling?
Especially liked the choice of music being a fan of Joe
Also liked the choice for the road rage clip LOL

Speeds over that section were probably 20~45mph
here is another clip, going over the East flank of MtHood on CooperSpur road
The National Forest has hundreds of miles of remote, one lane go cart track running through it.
Andy and Nicholas rip across FS4890 on the South side of Mt.Hood during the 2009 Black Dog Dualsport Rally.
High winds the day before littered the narrow, one laned pavement with forest debris
A fun gravel section near the Barlow Trail. Nic seems to be having a blast!
Sunday, BlackDog Dualsport Rally 2009
After we left the "Tunnel of Love" we went in search of "Vernon's Clutch Trail" the location of a previous debacle when Tawm and his crew had to tow my broken Triumph rig out of the woods a few years back.
We blew right by the clutch trail and mistakenly chose a torturous narrow track a little too far down the road. At one point I caught a stump with the sidecar wheel and was punted into the manzanita! Eventually we decided it was a bit too lonely to be the correct path and retraced our tracks to find the route again...
Having found the junction, we set off up the infamous Clutch Trail with Andy and his navigator, Nicholas, in the lead.
