After the bike sitting in the Harley shop an extra week waiting for the recall part i am finally out and about . It turns out that the recall had been done back in the pre computer day so it is not in the Harley data bank . But the shop guy is great on sidecars so i am not too upset about the wait . There was a another Harley with a sidecar in the shop when i picked mine up . and yesterday i ran into another sidecarist out on the road .The bike runs great and handles good .of course i made sure i had to run out with it a half dozen times saturday to "pick up things " Several trips to the hardware store ,a little grocery shopping . i even took 2 bags of garbage to the dump [ old curtains ,not nasty garbage ] .the day before i got caught in a downpour while getting ice cream for my dogs [yes they are spoiled ] .so a summers riding starts out good and we have a lot of plans to have fun with the sidecar .
