Hi, I'm a new member. I will be 72 in a few weeks. I've been riding motorcycles since 1968. My motorcycle history is pretty much chronicled on this website:

http://www.gpawmartin.com/

A few months ago, I purchased a 2013 Ural tourist from Blue Moon Cycle in Norcross, Georgia. This is a pretty good place to go it you want to purchase a turnkey motorcycle-sidecar rather than something weird like sticking a Ural sidecar onto a Sportster. My youngest son now has the Sportster and I have a Ural.

So far, I haven't logged too many miles on the Ural but I have added a few items. I got a over-the-spare-tire luggage rack and front and rear sidecar bumper from Ural of New England. I've installed the luggage rack and just got around to getting the hardware for installing the bumpers.

I have a couple of questions:

What happened to Wagner's Cycle Shop? The website sends me back to GoDaddy.com but if I'm really lucky, I can get to a forum that appears to be from that shop. What's happening?

The reason I want to get to WCS if that I want a National Cycle Dakota windshield and I have read on several other websites that WCS sold this windshield with a Ural mounting kit. One other Ural dealer I contacted kind of said they had the windshield and kit but balked at sending me stock numbers. So here's the deal, if WCS is DIW, does anybody else have the windshield and mounting kit? If not, does anybody else know which of the National Cycle stock numbers is the best for a Ural (N2301-N2304)?

I really love my Ural Tourist. If I never put another mile on it, It's still the neatest vehicle I've ever owned.

welcome to the forum, glad you like your ural. I was going to buy one but I opted for a 1200 sportster and put a friendship sidecar on it. I can cruise at 70 all day long but mostly cruise backroads. demitri at ural newengland is a nice guy but some of his stuff is pricey. try going onto soviet steeds website and see if anyone has what your looking for.

Wagners moved from Indiana to Arkansas some years ago and appears to have faded away. For your windshield try Dave Heindl in Dayton OH I know he stocks the appropriate National Cycle stuff. His prices are pretty close to the discounters and he is a Ural dealer. For Ural accessories try Holopaw Ural in Fl or Crawford Sales in MI. Both are long time Ural shops with a lot of product knowledge.
