Alarm information needed.
Ok after the radio in the hack was almost stolen the other night, found it dangling by a few wires, and it isn’t much good without the face plate. I am in the market for a good alarm with a perimeter sensor. I have an 08 Ultra Classic with a Escort Sidecar, this was added so the young man that lives with us, who is wheelchair bound, to be able to enjoy the open road, he loves it. We installed his own stereo( Sony/w/removable faceplate) a Alpine amp, and two Alpine marine speakers. He likes big band music, and I don’t, so he can listen to his music in the hack and I can listen to my music on the bike, it works out good for the two of us. But some low life decided they need the radio, and didn’t succeeded, so now the search for a good alarm that will work for both. Thanks ahead of time for any information that you might have.

While you are looking for an alarm, get one of these. No wiring necessary. http://www.harborfreight.com/solar-powered-security-light-93661.html
I have a friend who spends a lot of time in the air. He puts one of these inside his car at the airport. He says that on two separate occasions, the police investigated the car opened but unmolested. The surprise light attracted attention and scared off the thief.
Mike,
I take back everything I ever said about you. That is an EXCELLENT idea!

Yeah, thanks. I was always going to ask if you wanted to sell your service revolver, but after seeing the photos of you, I expect it's probably a Colt Navy.
Stay well, Sarge. I'm looking forward to seeing you at the Skunk Rally one day.

I use a Gorilla 7017 Motorcycle Alarm with 2-way paging, tilt, warn on my bike. It could be set up for the side car using the tilt function..
I got it from an Ebay seller for about $125.00.
Check out Gorilla web site....
