1998 Magna with Friendship 1 install

I wanted to update the thread, I finally got the Sidecar Tub done, 100 hrs easy just on the Fiberglass tub.... Tub had close to 300 hairline cracks,ill bondo repairs and 4 coats of paint....I sandblasted tub with meduim grit,used a conical bit on the dremal and v notched all the hairline cracks...15 hrs alone just to do that,structual repair on nose and right side at mating line....then coated with 1 gallon of Vette Panel adhesive, block block and more block..open up tailight holes to accept 4" inch LED lights.. then sprayed 1 gallon of Wax White Gel coat.....then block and block and block to get out orange peel, then cut and buff and buff and buff 🙂 ...No paint on this tub 🙂 Installed Ralley Stripe I had made special, install LED tails,led marker, Harley right turnsignal,new chrome flip down step, 5/8 chrome molding at partin line,sprayed bedliner on lower half of tub, draw out and made windshield from .097 Lexan sheet, installed factory carpet,wired the whole thing, repainted seat frame and dried out seat foam, Harley Sportster license plate mount, custom plate with my Dogs name..............whew.... wow...ton of labor in the whole project 🙂 ..Building the subframe,all the mounts,heavy duty Harley 13.5 shocks on the bike,custom springs in the forks (www.sonicsprings.com) ,steering stablizer,and all materials.....I spent $1780.00 total for the sidecar and everything to get mounted and going.....The dog loves it,and the bike handles pretty good... I have had it cruising 90 mph on the freeway and stable, rough roads are another story :)...anybody have any questions just ask.... I also still have a windshield pattern I made and used if anybody needs that...............Enjoy!
