is it possible to have 2 or 3 year memberships as a renewal option? i have this with several other clubs [the Desoto Owners Club is one].

Of course! You could always renew for as many years as you like just by enclosing the appropriate number of dollars. I'm not sure yet how the membership page here will look so stand by.
