Three (3) times to get a LIKE to register correctly

I will address this one last time, as I am far enough away from Jerry, the Webmaster, that his best throw with a rock could not reach me.
I have mentioned this before, and either people didn't believe me, or they simply don't pay attention to the posting of their LIKE of someone else's post.
Example: Sheath posts LIKE on one of my posts.....the message in the upper right corner tells me that Sheath LIKED a particular post.
But when I go to that post of mine, the LIKE from Sheath is not registered there.
Frankly, I have seen this dozens of times every day, and for months......and I am not kidding or exaggerating.
Example: if BRSTR has a post, and Sheath has already LIKED it, and it shows sheath's name there as having LIKED it...if I also try to LIKE that same post, there is a 75% probability that either....my LIKE gets posted, BUT the LIKE from sheath will disappear.....or if sheath and Thane have LIKED it, and I try to LIKE it, one of their names will disappear.
And when that happens....75% of the time....and because I pay close attention to this "problem "....I will then click on the thumbs up button a second time to remove my LIKE, but it restores the former LIKES to what was already there....then I click on the thumbs up a 3rd time, and NOW it will register all the names correctly that have LIKED that post.
This problem is NOT solely related to my computer, as I found the same problem when using my phone, my tablet, my home PC.... my wife's phone, her tablet, and her home PC....and it’s a problem whether we are at home, on the road in the US, or in a hotel room in Germany, or Belgium, or the Netherlands, or the Czech Republic, and I have tried hotel business computers....same problem.
I will ask.....every time you give a LIKE to someone else's post....go check to see IF your LIKE has been posted correctly. And that means....LOOK at the names of those that LIKED that post before you....and see if any of their names disappear when you click the thumbs up.

Clicked once and it recorded.
But yes it is totally random from Australia as to what is recorded and what isn't.
The number of clicks isn't a guarantee either.
An anomaly.

It's not a bug - it's a feature! It is there just to stimulate interesting and provocative conversations with Flying Monkey to entertain us all on this topic.

I know this has come up before but I'll ask again, has anyone experienced this phenomenon?

Yes, me. Every single platform I use to access the site. Three different MacBooks, two completely different ip addresses and an iPad pro.

Careful now....I have access to The Stone of Scone.
Remember, I bought that flat in Scotland, in an 18th century Benedictine Abbey, so with 3 foot thick stone walls, I have access to many stones.

This will happen when I access the site from the android cell phone using Chrome. At first I thought it was the curvature of the screen on the phone, but it will do the same thing even in landscape mode where the thumb icon is well away from the curve.
It doesn't happen on this windows 10 laptop using Firefox. I haven't tried Chrome on this laptop.
Maybe something we could share with you at the rally, so you could see first hand, and have the device in your hands to help investigate?
