using a caravan mover as a reverse?
Quote from extreme10 on September 20, 2016, 5:01 pmHas anyone got any information on using a caravan mover as a reverse on either the side car wheel or the bike?
Just thinking of returning to a hack again after many years solo and a trike but now far to 'mature' to have the power to push a complete outfit out of a difficult situation. I also don't want to have to go down the road of a Goldwing or BMW LT. as I prefer a more naked bike.
I have found a number of units that just may cover what I need but would be interested in learning if any others have gone down that road.
Photo is of one of my old outfits. just wish I had it now!

Quote from Deleted user on September 20, 2016, 5:23 pmI had to google that one. Looks like a washing machine motor with a belt and pully. That would work. others have used starter motors with a rubber wheel on the shaft that rubs on the tire , spring loaded, turns on when you push it down to the tire. if the bikes naked just push it. or have the monkey push it while your steer.
