"Rally Central" will be this air conditioned pavilion at the Stone County Fairgrounds:

Not fancy, but did I mention it is air conditioned? And has a basic kitchen too -- and tables & chairs:

Any suggestions as to the best or worst motels/hotels in the area. My wife and I are not campers but we would like to come.

Kudos to whoever had a hand in choosing Mountain View as the next site. This is an absolutely beautiful little town in north-central Arkansas. They are extremely experienced in hosting gatherings of this size. The riding is fabulous, with many many motels/hotels, and any number of activities available, especially trout fishing. If anyone has a particular question about the area simply email me at jimampaco@comcast.net and ask away. We have trout fished in this area for twenty years and not many restaurants have escaped our credit card.

It was great to find this info. We already had the Rv park info and have our trip planned. We'll be making reservations this week. Post rally info and fees as soon as possible. We like to have everything done well in advance for a trip. Thanks!

Registration for the 2013 USCA National Rally will open in January.

The Ozark Folk Center plans to offer us group-rate access to the park & theater -- more info later.

There are several local activities for children and the adventurous young-at-heart, such as:

Crafts and educational activities at the Ozark Folk Center just down the street: http://www.ozarkfolkcenter.com/

Loco Ropes zip-line adventure in the trees just a couple of blocks away: http://locoropes.com/

The Sylamore Creek Camp has a great location for swimming, canoeing and exploring the clear waters of Sylamore Creek about 5 miles up the road -- day use for creek access is permitted for a small fee: http://www.sylamorecreek.com
