Lee -

Butch and Penney Bagley are planning on attending! We meet you last year at the rally in Arkansas. We had such a good time we thought we would go to this one too!

Hope to see you there!!

Thanks,
Penney

Good deal Penney. Y'all please be on the look-out for Roadside James as he plans to ride his Ural rig to the Rendezvous. 😉

The patio at the Big Pines Lodge is the destination for the Friday Ladies Lunch Ride Cool:

It's 'bout a 10 mile round trip from Uncertain.

Hey y'all: Bring some door prizes and we'll have a drawing to divide the loot. Jena already has a couple good contributions.

Lee / Summer Grove, Louisiana: Ural cT, CJ750, Burgman/Texas Ranger, Zuma 50F, MB5, TW200, CRF250L, GTV300

I sure wish we could attend. Sounds like a great time. Hope all of you have fun!

hey Lee;
i missed the Spring T.U.R.D. Rally, i'd really like to make this one. i have the Virago, which is now a 750 after an engine exchange a few months ago, in the shop being fitted with mounts for the old eagle sidecar. it should be ready in a few days, so i hope to see you there.

Hi Lee, Judy and I are going to try to make it this year, but I won't know for sure until probably the day before, we won't be able to make reservations, so will hope to find room to set up the tent this time. Hope to see yall there.

The preliminary ... long range ... ??reliable?? ... forecast for the Uncertain?Rendezvous is generally:

Lows of 45*-55* with Highs of 72*-80* with minimal chances of rain.

A reminder to folks traveling in from the West: The Caddo Lake area can have very heavy dew -- like sopping wet dew for the first a couple of hours in the morning.

Lee / Summer Grove, Louisiana: Ural cT, CJ750, Burgman/Texas Ranger, Zuma 50F, MB5, TW200, CRF250L, GTV300

All are invited to join in on Saturday evening's adventure ride led by BeemerBob.   The ride will be ~36 miles round trip  to explore the most haunted road in Texas. The ride includes up to 12 miles of dirt roads, but there is an alternative route to eliminate all but ~3 miles.   The preliminary weather indicates the dirt roads should be in good condition with minimal mud or dust.

Ural rigs should feel right at home on this ride.   Cool

got home last night at about 10pm, after having a great time at the 2012 uncertain rally. saw old friends and made some new ones. went on the ladies lunch ride, which was great once we found a restraunt that was open! (ended up in Karnak and had a wonderful time.) made part of the group ride saturday; thanks to the Lions Club for the Domino Run, and the store in Jonetown was amazing, !had to leave from there and miss the rest of that ride to get back and go on the steamboat ride/tour(which was a hoot!!) the sidecar games that J.R. set up were great, much thanks to him and Avanell and to the others who made the games so much fun! this was my first uncertain rendezvous but it certanly won't be my last! i hope everyone makes it home safe and had as much fun as i did!
see you in april for the T.U.R.D. Rally.
