SKUNK Adventures for 2007
Quote from Guest on April 22, 2007, 9:09 amAs members of the SKUNKs (Side Kar Up Nort’ Klub) http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/SKUNKtails/ , Gust (Menomonie, WI) and myself (Camp Douglas, WI) have compiled list of adventures (or misguided adventures) that we have been doing and plan to do during 2007. I’m listing them on this site just in case there may be others who may wish to join in on the adventures. We figure that we are not getting any younger and better start doing some things before the getting gets gone. We would also be open to attend any adventures which others in the area would allow two FOPs (foolish old persons) to participate in.

Hot Air Info: For early risers, sunrise flights are also available. The
rides cover from three to 20 miles, depending on the winds. After
landing, a 15-passenger van returns flyers to the Balloon Port for a
post-flight party celebrating the balloon voyage. Be aware, in case of
bad weather flights are cancelled any you have a year to use rain check.
Wiederkehr's takes eight passengers in a spacious 12-passenger balloon,
which provides plenty of room for every passenger to enjoy a "window
seat." For a ride with eight or more passengers the cost is $250 for
