Quote from Deleted user on October 8, 2016, 9:56 amMy bet, J.R., is that you see more traffic past your place in the boondocks than we see here on any given day. If three vehicles go by, chances are one was a tractor. The other two would be pickups. Older photo but it looks the same now. Archie is gone, Petey rides the same rig, same road now. The Gleaners are gone, replaced with JD. The clock keeps ticking and the place looks the same.

Quote from Deleted user on October 8, 2016, 8:50 pmOK, I guess we both must be officially in the boondocks. Our nearest Wal Mart is 22 miles. Haven't been stuck in the sand recently but I've pulled people out here who get stuck in the clay mud and in the winter time, their GPS still tells them our road goes through to McRae. It doesn't. The county only plows as far as our place and they used to not do that. We're the only ones who live on Schumer Rd. The old Sunset Hwy that gets to Schumer is a busted up old concrete road. When I ask the county when Sunset will be resurfaced the answer is always "Probably never." That's OK. We're out of the rat race but can get there when we need to. Another old photo but this is what we get stuck in here-
