Motorcycle Stopping and Proceeding through traffic signals.

Affective 6/12/2014. Washington State Senate Bill 5141 passed unanimously. It is now legal to make a left hand turn at the traffic signals if the light doesn't change for your motorcycle. You must stop at the signal. Wait until a complete cycle of the signals has completed and the light hasn't changed for you. When the light goes from green to yellow, and doesn't change for you to turn left, you can then proceed through the light, after you have checked to make sure it is safe to proceed.

About time

Wish Oregon would follow suit.

I wish all the states would adopt a similar law to allow legal left turns at a traffic light which doesn't sense the motorcycle.
