How do I send a private message?

i know this topic has been covered before and I can’t find an answer that works. Can someone explain how I can send a private message to a forum member? Sometimes I feel like the guy trying to peel the M&Ms! Thanks for any help.

Seems to me I read that the message feature isn't operable yet but coming soon...
