Hello everyone! Need some advice

With our Gold Wing 1500/Champion Escort last summer towing the 600 lb. camper and wife, little dog in sidecar we pulled onto I-5 in Washington headed south to Portland. The temperature was 95 and to keep up with all that traffic, I set the cruise at 75. It never overheated or complained in any way. I know there are good sidecar tugs out there but I'm very happy with mine. Ralf

I have a VTX1300/hannigan. It can handle the speeds, but if you are looking for a more cushy ride, the 1500 or 1800 goldwings would do nicely. 🙂
I hate freeways - congested, too straight, and BORING - but sometimes it's the only road available. :^( .... There is a correlation between speed and getting to the gas station quicker. LOL

Interesting. Several dedicated Goldwing riders have told me the GL 1100 was their favorite among the various 1000--1500models.
