Great example of poor workmanship -

I recently purchased a KLR650/Ural rig with a leading link front end.  This is one of the first things I noticed while looking it over. When I see something like this the warning horn goes off. If you cannot take care of the simple things in plain sight what else has been half-assed? My career has been in aircraft maintenance and repair - a good rule of thumb is one complete thread thru nut or get a longer bolt. Should be able to catch fingernail on a thread protruding. End of rant!

I am assuming you will check every nut, bolt and connection on that rig very carefully. it is otherwise a very nice looking outfit
