Subject: Gene Walker passed away last nightHello,
I am sorry to inform you that Gene Walker passed away last night. Gene has been a life long friend. He and I have been riding together since 1983. I was fortunate to have Gene as the Best Man at my wedding. I looked at Gene not only as a good friend, mentor, but as father figure for my father passed away when I was eight years old. I received notice of Gene’s passing this morning when I checked my E-mail. Gene had a way of people showing up at his shop and… they just would never seem to leave. This was me for my first ten years or so of our first meeting. In the last ten years or so, his good friend Jeff Munn has worked endlessly with Gene at his shop helping to rebuild, restore and just having good fun and quality time together. Jeff sent me this E-mail to everyone in Gene’s mailbox. Fortunately, I was in his system. He used to have me help him with the PC all the time. Jeff took over this command when he met and began to work with Gene. I’m currently letting everyone I know who Gene of his passing. It’s my understanding that Gene passed away at the hospital last nigh around 4 AM. Below is the E-mail that Jeff originally sent to me. I will the point of contact for anyone who receives this notice and you can contact Jeff if you want to. Inasmuch as arrangements are made, it is still in the making. I will keep you informed when I receive any information. As always, I remain most…
Respectfully, Frank Hallman
