Cure Autism Now (CAN) Ride

As I've mentioned before, on Sept. 17th the annual Cure Autism Now ride will be held in Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and San Francisco. It's a great ride for a great cause. More information can be found at http://www.canridenow.org or you can e-mail me.

Hope to see lots of sidecar rigs here in the Chicago area. By the way, if you plan on riding and haven't registered yet, you probably should do so on line. On-line registration by September 10th ensures that you'll get the "Official Ride Gear packet" (tee shirt and other stuff) on the 17th. Also, you won't have to stand in the registration line that morning. As they say: "for those registering on the 17th, packets will be available while supply lasts."

Thanks,

We had a GREAT ride on the 17th here in Chicago - About 1200 riders and $120,000 raised for autism research! (I missed my $1500 goal, but was able to gather $1250.) I was right at the front of the pack riding to the half-way point, so that helped - but the police escorts were again super. In 65 miles through several towns, I dropped to 1st gear twice and one of my riding friends on two wheels said he never had to put his foot down. Any of you ride in the other three cities?
