Bored!

The walls are starting to close in a bit and I'm not interested in any stuff I need to do, so...

There's lots of sidecar racing video on YouTube.  Did you know that they race sidecar short track on dirt in New Zealand?  Me either.

If board, why not write articles for the sidecarist 😉

And I do not mean Al doing so, Al does more then his fair share for this club!

I was bored so I clicked on Al's link.  It was a sidecar race in New Zealand.  It was 28 minutes long and was very full of action.  All the monkeys who fell off or were knock off of their rigs got up and walked away.

Two observations
1. Their sidecars are on the right (wrong) side.

2. They go around the track making right turns.

I bet they drive on the wrong side of the road too.   (I will get a nasty note from some Kiwi on that.)

Still bored but discovering more stuff on You Tube.  Check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=535dTOg9VBg&list=PLfvbhHDZxHbVAIbY-sNgzSsuqqZf6BYyl&index=34 .  SKIP THE FIRST 1:19, it's all over produced titles.  Now that you're looking at Sidecar Cross, take a close look at the rigs as they go away from you.  Are the exhausts routed from the bike to exit just inside the offhand side of the sidecars?  Weird but there's probably a reason.  Any European Sidecar Cross drivers or monkeys care to comment.

Aside from the funny exhaust thing, can you believe that the passengers are STANDING UP through most of this?  That's a new kind of crazy.
