We came home from my dad’s burial and after my wife got out, the electric seat lift would not return down. Due to being in the 30’s, she was using her electric blanket in the car. Well we just learned the blanket needs to be unplugged before using the seat. Thank God it was not at a restaurant or some other venue. Until the fuse was replaced, there was no way to manually lower the seat to get home. I have a 2016 Harley dresser with a Hannigan gtl sidecar. Being the first time on this problem, I took off a lot more then needed but it was still a pain. 20 amp fuse will be carried with me from now on.  Job complete and ready for another day.

As Carl Malden used to say, “Fuses, don’t leave home without some!”
