Back with a rig

I did it again, bought a 2013 Ural Patrol. I guess at 74 I have decided that it was time to slow down and smell the flowers. Really after moving back to Michigan, with the 55 mph speed limit, I thought maybe I could ride a Ural without getting run over. I have really missed having a sidecar rig, and look forward to riding on 3 wheels again. I know that it didn't happen without pics, so I am going to try to add a couple that the previous owner sent me. Glad to be back, and will be seeing some of you on the road.

Welcome back. Nice rig! Hope to see you at one of the rallies.

Boy, going from a Goldwing 1800 to a Ural is slowing down to smell the roses and pick a few petals too.

The great thing about Urals, they are like a blank canvas, just waiting to be farkled, modified and adapted to their owner's likes and dislikes. With your experience and background, you'll spend many a night wrenching and tuning.

Good luck with the new ride.

Good to hear you have a another rig Lloyd. Enjoy your ramblings and travel safe.

Hello Lloyd,
congratulations on this channel too.
Let us know after the snow has been plowed, what you feel like.
A change is a change. How do you feel, was it a up grade or down grade?

I still would love to try Sophie in snow and feel jealous.
Sven

don't you just love these things.
