A murder of murdered crows

'Sorry gang, I can't help it.  This was sent to me on another [BMW] list...

The Indiana Department of Transportation clean-up crew recently found over 200 dead crows off and along I-70, and there was concern that they may have died from Avian Flu.

A Pathologist examined the remains of all the crows, and, to everyone's relief, confirmed the problem was NOT Avian Flu.

The cause of death appeared to be from vehicular impacts. However, during analysis, it was noted that varying colors of paint appeared on the bird's beaks and claws. By analyzing these paint residues, it was found that 98% of the crows had been killed by impact with motorcycles, while only 2% were killed by cars.

The Indiana Department of Safety then hired an Ornithological Behaviorist to determine if there was a cause for the disproportionate percentages of motorcycle kills versus car kills. The Indiana Ornithological Behaviorist quickly concluded that when crows eat road kill, they always have a look-out crow to warn of danger. They discovered that while all the look-out crows could shout "Cah," not a single one could shout "bike."

Al, you made my day. Thanks for the belly laugh.

I had to pass that over to the german rig pusher gang.

Even my wife laughed enough to spill my coffee.

Groan!

Chuckle,

I think that punch line plays better where the accent is other than North Central.

Jim,

Feel free to change "Indiana" to "Alabama" if it improves the delivery.

I figured they all have Boston Southie accents...

lol , this born in Indiana boy worked in Harbor Beach, Michigan one summer and was accused of a southern accent. I told them to listen to my relatives in Tennessee to hear a REAL southern accent !

I must say that last year in Kentucky I asked myself more then once, if I got displaced into a cartoon film. My ears simply could not adapt well.

But it is a true fact: The work environment was WAY more harmonic and cooperative then with Californians and Arizonians. (once upon the time for 3 years in a CR-free zone)
