2020 now 2021 USCA RALLY, MENA, ARKANSAS
Quote from CCjon on November 19, 2019, 5:02 pmlabill, to answer your question, Yes, you need to register with USCA for the rally. That registration will open January 1, 2020. More details to follow......
When you said you got the last pull-thru, I called Iron Mountain. They informed me you got the last pull-thru in the lower RV section. They have now opened the upper RV section with 54 more spots.
So folks, don't panic, there are more RV/Camper spots with full hook ups at the rally site. Tent campers with or without electricity don't have to make reservations, Iron Mountain has hundreds of tent sites under the trees, at least half of which have electric hook ups.

a couple of us are going to be coming up for the entire week, I just wanted to see if anyone else might be thinking the same way. we want to be able to do a little riding and sight seeing before the rally. we will be arriving the Sunday before so if your thinking of coming up early let me know. we can put together a loose itinerary of things everyone would like to do and then just go with the flow. no schedules no timelines just enjoy the fellowship and beautiful scenery we are going t0 be surrounded by.

Quote from Deleted user on January 12, 2020, 2:11 pmHi Jon. I have been pretty quite for awhile due to problems. I am about well, got my pace-maker 10 weeks ago. Wed. before Thanksgiving,Avanell fell and shattered right shoulder. Got metal brace screwed and penned together. 3 days a week for therapy. Starting to show improvements. Got full intention of being at Mena for rally. Been there for CMA rally and up on the mountain for CASA meetings. Hope to see a lot of people there. Really a bike friendly town and lots of good riding, J.R.

Quote from CCjon on January 12, 2020, 9:07 pmHey, J.R. have been missing your voice here. Praying Avanell continues her recovery and we see you both in Mena.
Both my sister in law and brother in law had pacemakers, lived another 15 years with them. Amazing devices. I've had bikes that could have used a pacemaker...

Quote from CCjon on January 19, 2020, 6:52 pmA question came up concerning the Free Camping listed in the Rally flyer.
Tents camping and campers not hooked up to utilities can stay on Iron Mountain during the rally for free. USCA is renting the entire facilities from CMA, including all the tent camping sites we need.
Non-USCA members are welcome at all USCA rallies. Two wheel riders are welcome too. We always have number of folks who stop in at the rallies who are thinking about maybe getting a rig. They want to talk with people who already own one. Great, come on in. Welcome...
However if you are planning to drop in on the rally and camp without registering for the rally, plan on paying the full daily rate to CMA Iron Mountain.
Free camping is one of the rally perks included in the rally fee, along with a great Southern Dinner, rally shirts, guided rides, dual sport trail rides, games, parade, sidecar show, valuable door prizes, awards, trophies, contests, drinks, snacks and... live music Friday night with a couple of pickers and grinners who have played the Grand Ole Opry... plus a surprise or two tossed in for good measure...
Reserve your spot now before they are all gone.

Quote from CCjon on January 29, 2020, 4:45 pmIn answer to a question that came up recently..."Arkansas is one of the few states that does not require adults to wear a helmet. Instead, everyone on a motorcycle under the age of 21 must wear a helmet. If you're older than 21, you are not legally required to wear protective head gear. However, all persons riding a motorcycle are legally required to wear eye protection."That said, we highly recommend you wear a helmet as you will be spending most of your saddle time checking out the beautiful Ozark scenery and not looking at the winding road....p.s. wildlife is abundant in the forest areas.

Quote from CCjon on February 1, 2020, 5:27 pmThe 2020 Rally is shaping up to be huge. In the first month of registration over 70 persons signed up and paid their rally fee. Based on previous trends, that indicates a rally of close to 300 people will be in attendance. Four more months until the WAH-SHA-TAH Ramble.
Don't miss this sidecar event of 2020.
