Where Have You Gone With Your Sidecar Rig ???

Or common sense for the operator. 🤔
Spring snow melts are always the "stuckiest" out here.

We took two of them for a 200 mile ride to FSC Sidecars in Middleburg, PA to get sorted out. While the bikes were in the shop we camped at one PA State park and visited 8 others in the area that week. Not nearly exciting at the roads you folks have been on! Well, there was that one dirt road leading to a park in the camper..... 🙂
pretty sure this is where the TV roof antenna got knocked off

@thane-lewis Looks great! What does it look like "down" or "stowed?"

Been hiding a bit this spring. Busy with stuff actually. First was a race car delivered so I could prep it for our local hill climb after a long hibernation,
Then Sadly, depending on how you look at it, my 08 GS/Ural rig got sold and delivered to Alberta. I now have a wad of cash that is just waiting for the next rig to happen. LOL
I believe the new owner is a member
Then I was prepping for our local Mountain bike enduro. I was course director. I was able to put the LBS rig to good use setting up the course
and looking after all my Marshalls on race day
Of course then the Hillclimb came and went.
So after all this busyness I now prepare for this summers adventures, which depend a lot on Mrs. MGs doctor appointments and if I have the garden in good shape
For some reason my shop seems a tad empty at the moment--
What should I fill it with??

Oh yeah, forgot. Lucy and I did get out a bit too, on the nice days. Nothing grand or any thing just rides to the local trails.

Wednesday's Wet Adventure:
Loop over the Mirror Lake Byway.
Starting off with a gas stop in Roosevelt, the next megatropolis on the route was Bluebell, UT. What they lack in population they more than make up with community spirit and patriotism.
Two weeks ago Wolf Creek Pass (UT-35) had just opened. Now there are only remnants of snow in the shade on the mountain sides well above 8,000' asl.
Lunch stop in Kamas, UT at my favorite little Mexican restaurant. King's Tacos. This is right next door to the Chevron station (where they have the amazing fritters). Found this place about four years ago when I noticed a whole group of Mexican tradesmen (lots of custom homes getting built in the area) were walking in. My sign for great Mexican food.
Mama does the cooking, and the boys handle the rest. It is well worth the stop if you are in Kamas around lunch time.
I sat outside, and even though it started raining, the Tortas con Pollo with a real "Mexican coke" was perfect!
That rain was a sign of things to come. But I just had to see if the route was open. Curiosity soaked the cat...
Stopped at Mirror lake, which is still frozen over. Even the trail head parking for Pass lake was snowed in.
Looking west from this stop is Bald Peak. This is a really stunning view in the summer, against a deep blue sky.
Made it over the pass, but wasn't brave enough to try the short cut to Manila. So took 150 all the way to I-80 where SYZ and I got drenched the whole way to Fort Bridger. About the I-80 business loop exit the rain stopped... for long enough to almost get dry, before running back into more showers. lol
At least the rain stopped for the most part south of Manila, and Sheep Creek pass was fairly dry.
This road is awesome!
Both pictures taken from the Sheep Creek Overlook.
So that was the day. About 330 miles, and eight hours (about seven in the saddle).
Hope you are ready to hit the road with some epic rides of your own.

Went to Lexington, NE to attend the Honorbound MM rally. Only 45 or so miles.
Fiona had her first ride in the car with the convertible top. She reports that it was good. Looking forward to more, longer rides.
Illegitemi non carborundum est!

T’were a busy weekend. Saturday morning we went back to the Honorbound rally for the early sessions, but in our automobile because that afternoon we were headed to a concert in northern Kansas and needed to bring Maddie the dog with us, followed up Sunday noon for a family gathering near home. Too much going on to try the sidecar for all of it. I bought a pie to take to the potluck.
So, Miles: eating too much cake is called the sin of gluttony, but eating too much pie is okay because the sin of pi is always zero.

Wondering were is Miles?
And how he is travelling?

Heard from him Sunday afternoon as he was headed on I80 toward Iowa for the night. I figure he is somewhere in NY headed for Maine at the moment. He had originally planned to ride to the rally but is trailering the rig this time.

Well I suppose it's almost Wednesday here.
